Rikki Amos Named Managing Director of IFA Foundation
The International Franchise Association (IFA) today announced its appointment of Rikki Amos as the new head of IFA Foundation.
“I am very excited to welcome Rikki to this new role, and I know her experience, leadership, and excellent rapport she has built with IFA members and staff will serve our community well,” said IFA President and CEO Robert Cresanti.
Amos has held senior leadership positions at the Foundation for the past year, building close relationships with the staff, leadership and IFA members across franchise business sectors. Her past work includes a long record of success in non-profit management. Prior to her work at IFA, Amos worked at the Public Affairs Council, connecting trade associations and industry groups with new ideas and best practices. Her new title will be Managing Director.
“Rikki is well-suited for this important role, and I know that her past record of success can help the IFA Foundation continue to grow and highlight franchising’s important role across the country,” said Mike Isakson, Chairman of the Board of the IFA Foundation.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the IFA Foundation into its next phase given its steeped history. I look forward to expanding professional development opportunities for Certified Franchise Executives; raising awareness of the significant good that franchising contributes to communities around the world; and engaging an ever-widening circle of veterans, millennials and diverse communities who represent that next generation of entrepreneurs. I hope to inspire them as they have already inspired me,” Amos said.
The IFA Foundation serves as the leading and trusted voice to both cultivate and shine a light on the unique value that the franchise business model offers the world. Its mission is to build a sustainable future by amplifying the best of what is and what will be in franchising. IFA Foundation programs include the Institute for Certified Franchise Executives, which administers the Certified Franchise Executive program; VetFran, which focuses on franchise opportunities for military veterans; NextGen, a program designed to increase franchising opportunities and awareness in young people; Franchising Gives Back, which helps franchise businesses highlight their community service and involvement; and the Diversity Institute, which works to grow economic opportunity for a diverse array of franchise owners and employees.
